Deliciously Easy Oreo Truffles

  • Author: Alioui
  • Total Time: 50 minutes
  • Yield: 15-20 truffles 1x

Description

These delightful, bite-sized desserts are the ultimate sweet treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreos (approx. 1520 cookies) – The base of the truffle’s flavor and texture.
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened) – Adds a smooth and creamy texture to the filling.
  • 2 cups White Chocolate Chips – For the rich chocolate coating.
  • ¼ cup Dark Chocolate Chips (optional) – For the drizzle on top of the truffles.

Instructions

  1. To start, take your package of Oreos and place them in the food processor. Pulse until they turn into fine crumbs, ensuring no larger bits remain.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese. Using a spatula or your hands, mix them well until the ingredients are thoroughly blended into a smooth, pliable mixture.
  3. Using your hands, roll the Oreo and cream cheese mixture into small balls, approximately 1 inch in diameter. Place each ball on the lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate the rolled truffles for about 30 minutes.
  5. While your truffles are chilling, melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  6. Once the truffles have firmed up, remove them from the fridge and dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate.
  7. If you want to elevate your truffles, melt the dark chocolate chips for drizzling.
  8. Return the truffles to the fridge for a final chill until the chocolate coating is completely set.

Notes
