Description
These delightful, bite-sized desserts are the ultimate sweet treat for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package Oreos (approx. 15–20 cookies) – The base of the truffle’s flavor and texture.
- 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened) – Adds a smooth and creamy texture to the filling.
- 2 cups White Chocolate Chips – For the rich chocolate coating.
- ¼ cup Dark Chocolate Chips (optional) – For the drizzle on top of the truffles.
Instructions
- To start, take your package of Oreos and place them in the food processor. Pulse until they turn into fine crumbs, ensuring no larger bits remain.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese. Using a spatula or your hands, mix them well until the ingredients are thoroughly blended into a smooth, pliable mixture.
- Using your hands, roll the Oreo and cream cheese mixture into small balls, approximately 1 inch in diameter. Place each ball on the lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate the rolled truffles for about 30 minutes.
- While your truffles are chilling, melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Once the truffles have firmed up, remove them from the fridge and dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate.
- If you want to elevate your truffles, melt the dark chocolate chips for drizzling.
- Return the truffles to the fridge for a final chill until the chocolate coating is completely set.
