- Royal icing or glaze (optional)
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Dry Ingredients: Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream the Butter and Sugar: Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the Wet Ingredients: Mix in the egg and extracts until combined.
- Combine with Dry Ingredients: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture.
- Chill the Dough: Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Roll Out and Cut Shapes: Roll the dough and cut with cookie cutters.
- Bake the Cookies: Bake in a preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.
- Decorate as Desired: Decorate cooled cookies as desired.
