- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup (175 g) pastel M&Ms, plus 1/4 cup (45 g) for topping
- 2 to 3 tablespoons pastel sprinkles (optional), plus extra for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or a light coating of cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Fold in 1 cup of pastel M&Ms and sprinkles into the batter, setting aside some for topping.
- Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan, sprinkle reserved M&Ms and sprinkles on top, and lightly press them in.
- Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then lift out using parchment paper and let cool completely on a wire rack before cutting.
