  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

  • 0.25 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • Optional:
  • 0.5 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced shallot

Instructions

  1. Take your unsalted butter out of the fridge and let it soften at room temperature for about 30–45 minutes.
  2. Finely chop the garlic, parsley, thyme, and any optional flavor enhancers.
  3. Transfer softened butter to a mixing bowl and add in all chopped ingredients, kosher salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Shape the butter into a log using parchment paper or plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
