  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by whisking together the olive oil, lime juice and zest, along with all the spices—chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper—in a small bowl.
  2. Once you have your marinade ready, take the chicken breasts and coat them thoroughly in the mixture. Let them rest for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat. When hot, carefully place the marinated chicken on the grill.
  4. While your chicken is cooking, prepare the refreshing avocado salsa.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from heat and let it rest for a few moments. To serve, place the chicken on a plate, topping it generously with the avocado salsa.
