Description

A quick and indulgent weeknight dinner featuring juicy steak and cheesy tortellini in a creamy garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin steak
  • 10 ounces cheese-filled tortellini
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting your sirloin steak into bite-sized cubes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat butter in a skillet and sear the steak until golden brown, then remove and keep warm.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese to create a creamy sauce.
  5. Cook tortellini according to package instructions, then combine with the sauce.
  6. Add the seared steak back to the skillet and mix gently to combine.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, allow it to simmer longer after adding the cheese.
