Description
Indulge in the rich, decadent world of gooey chocolate peanut caramel brownie bars that satisfy chocolate cravings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped salted peanuts
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, blend melted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Incorporate vanilla extract, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the wet mixture, folding gently until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes. Check with a toothpick to ensure it comes out mostly clean for that gooey texture.
- Prepare chocolate ganache by warming heavy cream, then stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
- Spread caramel sauce over cooled brownies, followed by a layer of ganache and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.
Notes
Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for even mixing. Chill bars for enhanced ganache setting.
