Description

A natural and healthier alternative to store-bought candy, made with fresh strawberries and pineapple.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
  • ½ cup honey (or agave syrup for a vegan version)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to a low temperature of 175°F (80°C).
  2. Blend the hulled and diced strawberries and pineapple with honey, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the fruit mixture, spreading it evenly.
  4. Bake for 4-5 hours until firm and non-sticky.
  5. Cool and cut the candy into pieces.
  6. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
