- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 2 cups cooked rice
- ¼ cup green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, begin by whisking together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lime juice, and chili powder.
- Next, preheat your skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- After the shrimp have turned pink, pour your prepared sauce over them and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked and glazed.
Notes
You can use frozen shrimp; just thaw them first. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
