Immune-Boosting Honey Lemon Tea Bombs

  • Author: Alioui
  • Total Time: 1–2 hours
  • Yield: About 12 tea bombs 1x

Description

Experience a soothing tea with the health-boosting properties of honey, lemon, ginger, and more.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp echinacea powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp green tea leaves (or 12 green tea bags)

Instructions

  1. Begin by taking a small mixing bowl, and add the honey, fresh lemon juice, grated ginger, ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, and echinacea powder if you’re using it. Stir all the ingredients together thoroughly until the mixture is well blended and smooth.
  2. Prepare your silicone mold by ensuring it is clean and dry. Using a teaspoon, carefully fill each cavity of the mold with the honey mixture you prepared in the first step.
  3. Next, take the green tea leaves or open your green tea bags to access the loose leaves. Firmly press a bit of the tea leaves on top of the honey mixture in each mold.
  4. Once your molds are filled, place them in the freezer. Allow the tea bombs to freeze for 1 to 2 hours, or until they are completely solid.
  5. Once frozen, carefully pop the tea bombs out of the molds. Place the unmolded tea bombs in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
  6. To prepare a soothing cup of your Immune-Boosting Honey Lemon Tea, simply take one of the tea bombs and drop it into a mug. Pour 1 cup of hot water over the tea bomb and give it a gentle stir until it fully dissolves.

Notes

Store your tea bombs in the freezer for up to six months. Adjust the amount of green tea used depending on your taste.
