  • Author: Alioui
  • Total Time: 18 minutes
  • Yield: 1 sandwich 1x

Description

The delightful combination of creamy Alfredo sauce, tender chicken, and gooey provolone cheese encapsulates what makes the Alfredo Chicken Grilled Cheese a favorite sandwich for many.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices white bread
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Start by taking a medium bowl and adding the shredded cooked chicken to it. Pour in the Alfredo sauce and mix thoroughly until the chicken is evenly coated.
  2. Next, take two slices of white bread and place a slice of provolone cheese on each. Then, generously top these slices with the chicken Alfredo mixture, spreading it evenly. To boost the cheesy goodness, place another slice of provolone cheese atop the chicken.
  3. Spread unsalted butter on the outer sides of each sandwich. Carefully place your sandwiches into the preheated skillet. Grill them for about 3–4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and the cheese has fully melted.

Notes

Using leftover rotisserie chicken can save time and add extra flavor to your sandwich.
