Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In a larger bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture, whisking until incorporated.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with buttermilk, starting and ending with dry ingredients.
