Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan.

- In a larger bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture, whisking until incorporated.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with buttermilk, starting and ending with dry ingredients.
- Fold in chopped apples and pour batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow cake to cool completely in the pan before serving.
