Crab & Cheese Crescent Delight

  • Author: Alioui
  • Total Time: Approximately 30 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

This Crab & Cheese Crescent Delight combines the rich flavors of crab, cheddar, and cream cheese in a flaky crescent roll.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup canned or fresh crab meat
  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup softened cream cheese
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the ingredients for your filling. Add the crab meat, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir these together until they form a well-blended, creamy mixture.
  3. Gently unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Take about 1 to 2 tablespoons of the crab mixture and spoon it onto the wide end of each crescent triangle. Begin rolling it towards the narrow end carefully while tucking the sides slightly to encase the filling securely.
  5. Place the filled rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 12 to 15 minutes, until they achieve a golden brown shade and flaky texture.
  6. Once they are out of the oven, let them cool for a moment and sprinkle with fresh parsley if preferred. Serve them warm to fully enjoy their rich textures and flavors.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing for easier blending.
