Irresistible Mediterranean Brunch Board

  • Author: Alioui
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

A vibrant Mediterranean brunch board that’s easy to assemble and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup hummus
  • 1 cup tzatziki
  • 1 cup baba ganoush
  • 4 warm flatbreads
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, sliced into coins
  • ½ cup Kalamata olives, pitted
  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh mint leaves
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley leaves
  • Extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the dips. If you’re using store-bought, simply let them sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes. If you’re making your own, prepare these ahead to let flavors meld beautifully before serving on the brunch board.
  2. Wash and prepare your vegetables. Slice the cucumbers into even coins and halve the cherry tomatoes. For the herbs, choose whether to chop them roughly or use them whole to enhance the aesthetic appeal of your board.
  3. Heat up the flatbreads using a dry skillet or toaster. Toast each side for about 30 seconds, ensuring they stay soft and warm. Keep them wrapped in a towel to preserve their delectable warmth till it’s time to serve.
  4. Select a large, clean board or platter as your base. Arrange the dips in small bowls throughout the board. Strategically position the sliced veggies, fresh herbs, olives, and cheese around the dips to create a balanced visual harmony.
  5. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil across the board to add a rich sheen and lively flavor. Sprinkle flaky salt and pepper over everything to enhance taste, then serve immediately to keep the freshness intact.

Notes

To keep the flatbreads soft and warm, wrap them in a clean kitchen towel immediately after toasting. Use fresh herbs liberally—they add a burst of color and flavor that ties the entire board together.
