- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 10 ounces milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
- Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
- Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, portion out the dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them adequately. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before dipping in melted chocolate.
- Melt the milk chocolate chips and dip each cookie halfway. Allow to set at room temperature.
