Description
Mini Cheeseburgers are the perfect solution when you need a quick, crowd-pleasing meal or snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 12 mini burger buns
- 6 slices cheddar or American cheese (cut in halves)
- 12 small lettuce leaves
- 12 slices tomato
- 12 pickle slices
- 2 tbsp ketchup (optional)
- 2 tbsp mustard (optional)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
- 2 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)
- Toothpicks or mini skewers
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Gently mix the ingredients using your hands or a spatula, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- After mixing, divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a mini patty, roughly the size of the slider buns.
- While the patties are chilling, slice your mini burger buns in half and spread a little butter on the cut sides. Heat a skillet over medium heat, then add the buttered buns, cut-side down.
- After chilling, heat your skillet or grill pan to medium-high heat. Place the mini patties on the hot skillet, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side. During the last minute of cooking, place a half slice of cheese on each patty.
- Now it’s time to bring it all together! Start with the bottom bun, then layer on a small lettuce leaf, followed by the patty with melted cheese.
- To keep everything together, insert a toothpick or mini skewer through the center of each slider. Serve your Mini Cheeseburgers immediately on a platter, hot and fresh from the skillet.
Notes
Using 80/20 ground beef ensures juicy and flavorful patties, preventing them from drying out during cooking.
