- 1 pre-made graham cracker pie crust
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 1 cup whole cherries (fresh or canned)
- 1/2 cup extra chocolate chips for topping
Instructions
- Begin by melting your chocolate chips. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of dark chocolate chips with 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Heat in 20-second intervals, stirring to prevent burning.
- Once melted, pour the chocolate into the graham cracker crust and spread evenly. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
- In another mixing bowl, beat 1 cup of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of powdered sugar, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.
- After the chocolate layer has set, spread half of the cream cheese mixture over it. Then layer with cherry pie filling.
- Top with the remaining cream cheese mixture, whole cherries, and sprinkle with extra chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours before slicing and serving.
