  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup whole cherries (fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 cup extra chocolate chips for topping

Instructions

  1. Begin by melting your chocolate chips. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of dark chocolate chips with 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Heat in 20-second intervals, stirring to prevent burning.
  2. Once melted, pour the chocolate into the graham cracker crust and spread evenly. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
  3. In another mixing bowl, beat 1 cup of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of powdered sugar, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. After the chocolate layer has set, spread half of the cream cheese mixture over it. Then layer with cherry pie filling.
  5. Top with the remaining cream cheese mixture, whole cherries, and sprinkle with extra chocolate chips.
  6. Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours before slicing and serving.
