Description

If you’re looking for a rich, creamy dessert that satisfies every peanut butter craving, this Peanut Butter Cheesecake is your new favorite indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 24 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup sour cream or whipped cream (for topping, optional)
  • 2 tablespoons melted peanut butter or chocolate (for drizzle, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press into the bottom of a springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  2. Make the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add in the peanut butter and brown sugar, mixing until combined. Add sour cream and vanilla, then mix in eggs one at a time.
  3. Combine Heavy Cream: Gently stir in heavy cream. Pour filling into crust and smooth the top. Tap the pan to release air bubbles.
  4. Bake the Cheesecake: Bake for 55 to 65 minutes until edges are set and center jiggles slightly.
  5. Cool the Cheesecake: Turn off oven and let cool inside for 1 hour.
  6. Chill: After cooling, refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  7. Serve with Toppings: Before serving, top with sour cream or whipped cream and drizzle with melted peanut butter or chocolate.

Notes

Chilling the cheesecake overnight makes it easier to slice and enhances the overall flavor.
