  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and sliced thin

Instructions

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and greasing a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, and granulated sugar and whisk until smooth. Add in the spices and mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and evenly sprinkle the yellow cake mix on top without mixing.
  4. Add thinly sliced cold butter evenly over the cake mix.
