  • Author: Alioui
  • Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

This creamy beef dip combines roasted garlic, tender beef, and a spicy drizzle of hot honey, creating a flavor explosion that will have guests coming back for more.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked shredded roast beef
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey (plus more for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the crown off the garlic head to expose the cloves, drizzle with olive oil, and wrap it thoroughly in foil. Place the wrapped garlic on a baking sheet and let it roast for about 35 to 40 minutes until the cloves are soft and golden. Once roasted, allow the garlic to cool slightly, then squeeze out the creamy cloves into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Lower the oven heat to 350°F (175°C). To the bowl with roasted garlic, add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, ensuring a smooth consistency is achieved. This forms the luscious base of your dip, rich and flavorful.
  3. Fold in the shredded roast beef, mozzarella, Parmesan, and hot honey into the garlic-cheese mixture. Mix until evenly distributed. The beef adds texture and depth, while the cheeses contribute to a creamy, melted finish. The hot honey provides a sweet contrast that ties all flavors together.
  4. Transfer the prepared mixture into a suitable baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the dip is hot, bubbly, and the top is lightly browned. Sprinkle with chopped chives and a further drizzle of hot honey before serving. This finishing touch adds a pop of color and extra flavor.

Notes

Serve with breadsticks, tortilla chips, or vegetable slices for dipping.
