S’Mores Brownies

Description

A delightful fusion of fudgy brownie goodness layered with a crispy graham cracker base, gooey toasted marshmallows, and pockets of melted chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lay down parchment paper in your 9×13-inch baking tin.
  2. Cream the softened butter with the granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then fold in vanilla extract.
  3. Blend flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl. Fold these into the creamy mixture.
  4. Spread crushed graham crackers across the bottom of your baking pan, then pour the brownie batter on top and smooth it out.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  6. Remove the pan and sprinkle chocolate chips and mini marshmallows on top. Broil for 1–2 minutes until marshmallows are golden.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into squares.

Notes

For a chewier texture, slightly underbake the brownies and let them continue setting while cooling.
