Instructions

- In a medium saucepan, combine unsalted butter, sugar, and honey over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and fold in flour, baking powder, and vanilla into a glossy dough.
- Fold in sliced almonds and candied orange peel.
- Drop dollops of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing at least 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 6 to 8 minutes until edges are golden brown.
