- 2 medium zucchini, sliced lengthwise
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Arrange sliced zucchini in a single layer in the dish; sprinkle with dried oregano.
- Dollop ricotta over zucchini and spoon half of the marinara sauce.
- Layer remaining zucchini, ricotta, and marinara. Finish with mozzarella on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
For extra creaminess, mix grated Parmesan cheese with the ricotta before layering.
