- 1/2 cup cocoa powder

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- For the Ganache:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir gently. Fold in pecans and chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 55-60 minutes. Check with a toothpick.
- Allow the cake to cool, then prepare the ganache by heating cream and pouring it over the chocolate.
