- 12 large eggs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives (plus extra for garnish)
- Paprika, for garnish
- Extra chopped chives, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- To start, place the eggs in a large pot and cover them with cold water. Set your stove to medium-high heat, bringing the water to a boil. Once boiling, cover the pot, remove it from the heat, and let it sit for 12 minutes.
- Transfer the eggs into a bowl filled with ice water for at least five minutes to cool.
- Once the eggs are cool, gently crack the shells and rinse them under running water.
- Carefully slice each egg in half lengthwise and scoop out the yolks into a mixing bowl.
- Mix yolks with mayonnaise, cream cheese, mustard, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fold in chopped fresh chives.
- Fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture using a piping bag or small spoon.
- Garnish with paprika and extra chives before serving.
Notes
These deviled eggs can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
