- 1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, mushrooms, onion, Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For an extra kick of flavor, consider brushing the loaf with ketchup before baking.
