- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 10–12 oz chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (half semi-sweet, half milk chocolate recommended)
Instructions
- Prepare your baking dish by lining an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Combine the creamy peanut butter, melted unsalted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl until smooth, then gradually stir in the powdered sugar.
- Press the dough into the baking dish and freeze for 20–30 minutes.
- Cut out tree shapes with a cookie cutter and freeze again for 45–60 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate and dip each tree, tapping off excess chocolate.
- Refrigerate until set and enjoy!
Notes
To avoid chocolate clumping, manage the temperature of both the chocolate and trees during dipping.
