Description

This One-Pan Honey Garlic Chicken is a quick and flavorful dish that delivers a delightful taste experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts (sliced in half)
  • 1/4 cup Flour (for dredging)
  • 4 cloves Fresh Garlic (sliced or minced)
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Seasoned Rice Vinegar
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • Salt & Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 2 Green Onions (thinly sliced, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the chicken. Season each piece generously with salt and pepper to enhance the natural flavors and then dredge them in flour, making sure to shake off any excess.
  2. Heat the olive oil and one tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, carefully add the chicken pieces. Sear them for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  3. Lower the heat to medium and add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the skillet. Once melted, add the minced garlic and stir it for a minute to release all its aromatic goodness.
  4. Now, pour the honey into the skillet, along with a pinch of salt and pepper. Allow the sauce to simmer gently for about 4-5 minutes or until it thickens slightly.
  5. Return the seared chicken to the pan, spooning the sauce over it to ensure every piece is well-coated. Let the chicken heat through for just a minute.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, marinate the chicken pieces in soy sauce and honey for 30 minutes before cooking.
