Instructions
- Begin by sifting the 2 cups of powdered sugar into a medium bowl.
- Add 2 tablespoons of milk or water, light corn syrup, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- If too thick, add more milk or water; if too runny, add more powdered sugar.
- Divide icing into bowls, tint with gel food coloring as desired.
- Use piping bags or spoons to decorate cookies.
- Allow cookies to dry completely for 6-12 hours.
- Store any leftover icing in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
