- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1/2 bell pepper, julienned
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the noodles by following the package instructions. Once done, drain them well and set aside. This is essential to avoid soggy noodles in the stir fry.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, and chili flakes. Mix until the sugar dissolves, then set aside.
- Warm sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and sliced onions. Stir-fry these ingredients for about 2 minutes.
- Introduce the carrot and bell pepper slices to the pan, stir frying for an additional 2 minutes until they start to soften.
- Now, integrate the pre-cooked noodles and pour the sauce mixture over top. Stir thoroughly to coat every strand and ingredient evenly. Continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
- Conclude your stir fry with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and garnish of fresh cilantro. Serve immediately to enjoy while hot.
