- 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli florets with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss together until well-coated.
- Spread the seasoned broccoli evenly on a baking sheet and roast for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- While the broccoli is roasting, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and warm the white beans for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Once the broccoli is roasted, add it to the skillet, drizzle with lemon juice, and toss to combine before serving.
