- 2 ripe pears, halved and cored
- 100 grams (about 3.5 oz) Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons honey, for natural sweetness
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, for an aromatic touch
- Cracked black pepper, to taste
- Optional: Chopped walnuts, for extra crunch
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the pears by washing and slicing them in half lengthwise; core them.
- Fill the hollowed centers of each pear half with Gorgonzola cheese.
- Drizzle honey over the stuffed pear halves.
- Season with fresh thyme leaves and cracked black pepper.
- Bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped walnuts upon removing from the oven and serve warm.
Notes
Pears should be slightly soft but firm enough to hold their shape during baking.
