  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Begin your cookie-making journey by creaming together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl.
  2. Once your butter and sugars are perfectly creamed, it’s time to mix in the creamy peanut butter until it’s fully blended.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. To enhance the texture of your cookies and reduce spreading while baking, chill the cookie dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. After chilling, use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to portion out balls of dough onto your prepared baking sheet.
  6. Pop your baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake for 9 to 11 minutes.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
