Description
A spicy and flavorful chicken wing ramen bowl that brings comfort and excitement to your dinner table.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8–10 chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 packs instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
- 1 tablespoon oil or butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili oil or sriracha
- ½ teaspoon paprika or chili powder
- 2 soft-boiled eggs
- Green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Start by patting the chicken wings dry using paper towels to ensure they crisp up nicely later on. Next, season the wings generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and chili flakes. This seasoning not only enhances flavor but also adds a delightful kick. Let the wings rest for about 10 minutes.
- In a large skillet or air fryer, heat about 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken wings and cook them for 20 to 25 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking time.
- Once your wings are cooked, toss them in a glaze made from mixing 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of honey, and your chosen amount of hot sauce. Return them to heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
- While the wings are finishing up, boil water in a separate pot and gently add the eggs. Cook them for about 6½ minutes, then transfer them into an ice bath.
- Boil the ramen noodles according to package instructions, usually around 3-4 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In the skillet used for the wings, add another tablespoon of oil or butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Then mix in soy sauce, chili oil or sriracha, and paprika. Add the cooked ramen noodles to this mixture and toss until fully coated.
- Assemble by placing the flavored noodles in a bowl, add the glazed chicken wings on top, then the soft-boiled eggs, and finally garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
