Instructions
- Start by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it’s hot enough to give the chickpeas their desired crispiness. Rinse the chickpeas thoroughly to remove any canning liquid, then spread them on a paper towel and pat them dry. The drier the chickpeas, the better they will crisp up in the air fryer.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the chickpeas with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, turmeric, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until the chickpeas are evenly coated with the spices.
- Transfer the seasoned chickpeas into the air fryer basket, spreading them out into a single layer. Cook them for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking process.
