Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded or 4 slices
  • 1 1/2 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 fresh jalapeños, sliced, seeds removed
  • 2 tablespoons chives, finely chopped, to garnish (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to a sizzling 450°F (232°C). While the oven heats, take a pizza pan or baking sheet and give it a light coat of olive oil followed by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Next, take the pizza dough and stretch or roll it out to form a circle about 10 inches in diameter.
  3. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Use a fork or spatula to mix until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a 3/4 to 1-inch border for the crust. Add the mozzarella cheese over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Slice the jalapeños and distribute the pieces evenly on top of the cheese layers.
  6. Transfer your pizza into the preheated oven and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  7. Once out of the oven, allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes, sprinkle with chopped chives if desired, then slice and serve.

Notes

Make sure to soften the cream cheese beforehand for a smooth topping.
