  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 tsp cracked black pepper
  • Pinch crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Steak: Begin by patting the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season all sides generously with salt and freshly cracked black pepper and let rest for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Sear the Steak Bites: In a large cast-iron skillet, heat olive oil over high heat. Sear the steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side until browned, then transfer them to a plate.
  3. Create the Garlic Butter Sauce: Lower the heat and add unsalted butter and minced garlic, stirring until fragrant. Toss seared steak bites in the garlic butter.
  4. Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce: Melt more butter in the skillet, add garlic, then heavy cream and simmer until thickened.
  5. Mix in Parmesan: Stir in parmesan cheese, season with black pepper and red pepper flakes, then adjust salt to taste.
  6. Combine & Serve: Toss steak bites in the sauce until heated through, garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
