- 1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 0.5 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 0.25 tsp cracked black pepper
- Pinch crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Prepare the Steak: Begin by patting the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season all sides generously with salt and freshly cracked black pepper and let rest for 20-30 minutes.
- Sear the Steak Bites: In a large cast-iron skillet, heat olive oil over high heat. Sear the steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side until browned, then transfer them to a plate.
- Create the Garlic Butter Sauce: Lower the heat and add unsalted butter and minced garlic, stirring until fragrant. Toss seared steak bites in the garlic butter.
- Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce: Melt more butter in the skillet, add garlic, then heavy cream and simmer until thickened.
- Mix in Parmesan: Stir in parmesan cheese, season with black pepper and red pepper flakes, then adjust salt to taste.
- Combine & Serve: Toss steak bites in the sauce until heated through, garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
