Description
A quick and flavorful meal combining tender steak pieces in a savory garlic butter sauce with creamy Parmesan.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450 g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp (28 g) butter
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ cup (120 ml) beef broth
- ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream
- ½ cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Begin by generously seasoning the pieces of sirloin steak with salt and pepper, ensuring that every bite will be flavorful.
- Next, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the butter is bubbling, add the seasoned steak bites to the pan. Sear them for about 3–4 minutes, turning occasionally, until they develop a beautiful brown crust.
- In the same skillet, introduce the minced garlic and sauté it for about 30 seconds. Then, pour in the beef broth, using a wooden spoon to scrape up any delicious browned bits.
- After the broth has simmered for a minute, pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese. Allow it to simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
- Return the seared steak bites to the skillet and stir well to coat them in the sauce. Cook for an additional minute to ensure the steak is heated through.
- Once combined and heated through, transfer the finished steak bites to a serving dish and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top.
Notes
For a lighter option, consider substituting the sirloin with chicken or shrimp.
