This zesty Italian Pasta Salad Dressing will elevate any dish with its vibrant flavors.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced or grated
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Zest of 1/2 lemon (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl or blender, mix together the red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, and honey until smooth.
- Add the minced garlic, oregano, basil, onion powder, and crushed red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- While whisking or blending, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until emulsified.
- Stir in the mayonnaise until creamy.
- Optionally, fold in the Parmesan cheese and lemon zest.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. Shake or stir before use.
