  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar for coating
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, packed brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Beat until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for the coating.
  7. Roll tablespoon-sized portions of dough into balls and coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Place on prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart, and bake for 9-11 minutes.
  9. Let cool briefly on the sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
