Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tablespoons lime juice (~1 lime)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (~1 lemon)
- 1 1/2 ounces raspberry powdered gelatin (1/2 of a 3-ounce box)
- 1 1/2 ounces lime powdered gelatin (1/2 of a 3-ounce box)
- 1 1/2 ounces lemon powdered gelatin (1/2 of a 3-ounce box)
- 1 1/2 ounces orange powdered gelatin (1/2 of a 3-ounce box)
- 1 1/2 ounces blueberry powdered gelatin (1/2 of a 3-ounce box)
- 3 cups green grapes (about 20 ounces)
Instructions
- Wash the grapes well under running water, removing their stems. Pat them completely dry using a towel to ensure that the gelatin adheres well. Dry grapes are crucial for effective coating.
- In a small bowl, mix lime juice and lemon juice. Place your grapes in a large mixing bowl and drizzle the citrus mixture over them. Toss the grapes gently in the bowl until each grape is evenly covered with the tangy juice.
- Prepare separate small bowls for each of the flavored gelatin powders. Roll each citrus-coated grape in one flavor of gelatin at a time, ensuring complete and even coverage. The gelatin should stick to the juice-coated grapes, creating a thick, colorful layer.
- Lay the coated grapes on a parchment-lined tray, making sure none of them touch, to avoid sticking. Chill the tray of grapes in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving. This allows the gelatin to set, giving the grapes a candy-coated finish.
