Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) and readying your baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk these dry ingredients to ensure they are evenly mixed.
- Add the cold, cubed unsalted butter and work it into the flour until you achieve a coarse crumb texture.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
