  • Author: Alioui
  • Total Time: 2 hours 15 minutes
  • Yield: 10 servings 1x

Description

A crowd-pleasing dessert that melds creamy, rich flavors with chocolatey surprises.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/3 cup chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • 1/4 cup chopped salted peanuts (optional)
  • Chocolate drizzle (melted chocolate or syrup, for garnish)
  • Graham crackers, pretzels, or fruit for serving

Instructions

  1. In a generous mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and unsalted butter. Using a hand or stand mixer, beat them together on medium speed until fully smooth and creamy.
  2. Next, add in the powdered sugar, creamy peanut butter, and vanilla extract into the bowl with the cream cheese mixture. Mix thoroughly until fully integrated and smooth.
  3. Fold in half of the mini semi-sweet chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, butterscotch chips, and chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups into the mixture using a spatula.
  4. Scoop the sweet, sticky mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap. With your hands, gently shape it into a ball, wrapping it securely in the plastic. Place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours.
  5. Once the cheese ball has set, carefully unwrap it and roll it in the remaining chocolate chips, chopped Reese’s, and optional salted peanuts. Drizzle your melted chocolate over the top.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for optimal blending. If you prefer a smoother consistency, beat the mixture longer until fluffy.
