Description

Delight your taste buds with this exquisite Sesame-Crusted Salmon, a dish that perfectly melds rich flavors with simple preparation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds (white and black)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). As your oven heats, take a shallow bowl and combine your sesame seeds with garlic powder, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the olive oil and soy sauce. Brush this mixture generously over both sides of the salmon fillets. Gently press each fillet into the sesame seed mixture.
  3. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and add the coated salmon fillets. Sear them for about 2-3 minutes on each side until a golden crust forms.
  4. Transfer the skillet with seared salmon directly to the preheated oven. Bake for 7-10 minutes, or until the salmon reaches your desired level of doneness.

Notes

Ensure salmon fillets are of even thickness for uniform cooking.
