Description
Delight your taste buds with this exquisite Sesame-Crusted Salmon, a dish that perfectly melds rich flavors with simple preparation.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds (white and black)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). As your oven heats, take a shallow bowl and combine your sesame seeds with garlic powder, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, mix the olive oil and soy sauce. Brush this mixture generously over both sides of the salmon fillets. Gently press each fillet into the sesame seed mixture.
- Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and add the coated salmon fillets. Sear them for about 2-3 minutes on each side until a golden crust forms.
- Transfer the skillet with seared salmon directly to the preheated oven. Bake for 7-10 minutes, or until the salmon reaches your desired level of doneness.
Notes
Ensure salmon fillets are of even thickness for uniform cooking.
