Description

Quick and delicious Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet with honey garlic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Start by creating the delectable honey garlic glaze. In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Use a whisk or a fork to mix until the ingredients come together into a smooth and creamy mixture.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the chicken breasts to the skillet. Cook for about 5 to 6 minutes on each side, allowing the chicken to become golden brown and develop a slight crust.
  3. Pour the chicken broth into the hot skillet, scraping the bottom with a wooden spoon to lift those flavorful browned bits.
  4. Introduce your prepared butter mixture to the skillet. Stir it in and let it simmer for about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, and spoon the luscious sauce over the chicken. Allow it to simmer for another 2-3 minutes.

Notes

Make sure to use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is fully cooked to avoid any food safety issues.
