Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing a flavorful marinade for the chicken. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Whisk the ingredients together until fully incorporated into a smooth mixture. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and ensure they are coated thoroughly with the marinade. For best results, let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes, or if you have the time, refrigerate it overnight for deeper flavor.
  2. While the chicken is marinating, you can prepare the creamy yogurt sauce. In another bowl, mix the Greek yogurt with chopped fresh dill, grated cucumber, a squeeze of lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Combine well and refrigerate the sauce until you are ready to assemble the pitas.
  3. Once your chicken has marinated, it’s time to cook it to perfection. Heat a grill pan or non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface to prevent sticking.
