Description
Golden chocolate-covered strawberries are a stunning and delicious treat that’s as simple to make as it is rewarding to present.
Ingredients
- Fresh strawberries: 1 pound
- White chocolate chips: 12 ounces
- Edible gold dust or gold luster dust: 1 teaspoon
- Gold sugar pearls: 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Ensure your strawberries are clean and fully dry before beginning the coating process.
- Using a double boiler setup, bring a pot of water to a gentle simmer. Place a heatproof bowl over the saucepan, ensuring it does not touch the water. Add the white chocolate chips to the bowl and stir them gently as they melt.
- Once the chocolate has melted and reached a smooth consistency, dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate.
- After placing the chocolate-coated strawberries on a baking sheet, dust them with edible gold dust while the chocolate is still tacky.
- Let the strawberries sit at room temperature until the chocolate has completely set.
Notes
Make sure to wash and dry your strawberries thoroughly. Any water will cause the chocolate not to adhere properly.
