Description

The Greek Appetizer Board with Spicy Hummus & Pita Chips is a vibrant blend of Mediterranean flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 🥣 Dips: 1 cup spicy hummus
  • ½ teaspoon paprika + 1 teaspoon olive oil (for topping)
  • ½ cup tzatziki or herbed Greek yogurt
  • 🥗 Fresh Veggies & Toppings: ½ cup cherry tomatoes
  • ½ cucumber, sliced
  • ¼ cup pickled red onions
  • ½ lemon, cut into wedges
  • ½ cup mixed olives (green & Kalamata)
  • ¼ cup crumbled feta
  • 34 marinated artichoke hearts
  • 🔥 Protein: 2 spicy grilled chicken skewers (or grilled halloumi slices)
  • 🥙 Crunch: 2 cups pita chips or toasted flatbread wedges

Instructions

  1. Begin by placing your spicy hummus into a small bowl. Take a spoon and gently swirl the surface of the hummus to create a decorative top. Drizzle a teaspoon of olive oil over the hummus and sprinkle it with paprika for an extra punch of flavor and color.
  2. Next, position the bowl of spicy hummus at the center of your large platter.
  3. To create an inviting spread, fan out the pita chips next to the hummus.
  4. Now, it’s time to add some color! Group the sliced cucumbers and halved cherry tomatoes on the board.
  5. Now, it’s time to toss in some delicious salty bites. Scatter the mixed olives throughout the board.
  6. On one side of the board, artfully lay down the grilled chicken skewers or halloumi slices.
  7. As another layer of flavor, spoon tzatziki into a small bowl.
  8. Lastly, add any final touches such as chopped parsley or fresh dill.

Notes

Allow your dips to reach room temperature before serving for enhanced flavor.
