Description

This Hot Mushroom Pepperoni Pizza Dip is a rich and cheesy blend of savory mushrooms and crispy pepperoni, perfect for dipping!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 1/2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, add the olive oil and heat over medium heat. Toss in the finely chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté for 2 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5–7 minutes, then add the pepperoni slices and crisp for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. In a medium mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, and sour cream until smooth. Add dried oregano, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  5. Fold the sautéed mushroom and pepperoni into the cheese mixture, then transfer to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot with tortilla chips or crusty bread.

Notes

Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing; this helps it blend seamlessly.
