- 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.25 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil spray
- Chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Set up your breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for egg wash, and one for seasoned panko breadcrumbs.
- Unwrap each Babybel cheese round and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Coat each cheese round in flour, then dip in the egg wash, and coat with seasoned panko. For a thicker crunch, repeat the egg and panko layering.
- Chill the breaded cheese rounds on a parchment-lined tray for 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Lightly grease the air fryer basket and arrange the cheese rounds in a single layer. Spray with olive oil and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 1-2 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer.
