  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray
  • Chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Set up your breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for egg wash, and one for seasoned panko breadcrumbs.
  2. Unwrap each Babybel cheese round and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. Coat each cheese round in flour, then dip in the egg wash, and coat with seasoned panko. For a thicker crunch, repeat the egg and panko layering.
  4. Chill the breaded cheese rounds on a parchment-lined tray for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  6. Lightly grease the air fryer basket and arrange the cheese rounds in a single layer. Spray with olive oil and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 1-2 minutes before serving.

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer.
